Sorry about the IELTs, I bet that's our option in the end cause Pete's spelling is abysmal (not even sure if I've spelt that right). We got the book from Jo and he has looked at it but not enough. We probably need to focus on some of his spelling (think we'll need a miracle or if I keep my fingers crossed the SA Govt might change their permanent sponsored list to include brickies).
Pete's got the same attitude as Max and will probably spit his dummy out if he fails - maybe it's a brickie thing!!!
Hahaha I think you could be right there. Max and mellow didn't fit in the same sentence the day he got the results. Pete will be fine. There don't appear to be many that fail which made him worse cus he said how ridiculous it all was and he felt humiliated. He was only 3 points short and because of this it's changed everything. I must admit I do get a bit wound up every so often myself. Especially when you think he is English. He may have passed 2nd time round but he just don't need the knock back again so we decided not to bother. It was another £100 we could do with right before christmas, it's not been a good year in the building has it? It's really hit us hard this time, we are so struggling to find fees for the emigration process but it's the only way forward for us and that's to start again in a new country where he can build beautiful buildings without being RAINED OFF!!!! It was really important at first to go on a perm visa but what the heck, lets just get out there. The 475 gives you perm residency anyway after 2 years and it will fly by!!

I didn't like America until i'd been there now if it wasn't for work and schooling, I would spend 6 months a year in Sanfrancisco. That is where my Becky wants to go to.
Hi, Hope you had a fab new year! Luke is going on our visa but will finish his training here. We are just hoping he will not be at sea when he has to validate his visa. He is a college again now in the UK until November but then goes to sea for 6 months December. Once we are all settled he hopes to get on the Merchant ships out there as I think he wants to apply to Maersk. Not sure though. Time will tell I suppose! He really wants his base to be Australia even though 70% of the time he will be away.
