Just to let you guys know I've just had a phone call from immigration and spoke to a lovely guy about work requirements.

Either applicant can work for a year in any job they like .

 

If they decide to change these rules in the future - which is always a possibility - the new rules will not apply to existing 495 holders.

 

So good news all round.:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
