Has anyone gone through the process of having their nursing qualification assessed and registering as a nurse in SA on their own? Is it a straight forward process or would it be easier to use an agent?

I just got the NMC to send validation to NBSA that I was on the register and sent them my degree certificate and Bingo I was on the register in less than 2 months. We were on the RSMS visa however and I know other nurses have had to have there skills assessed but I think for us nurses it is quite straight forward and we didn't use an agent.
