Positive response Vetasses competency application

Hi Guys

Just received a letter today stating I have passed the paper based Vetasses in General Plumbing:notworthy:

2 notes were made in that I did not show evidence of Arc welding or Fire sprinkler installation as they are more of a specialised field in the UK and the only sprinklers I install are called showers:biglaugh:

The inspector did advise that I may have to show competency in these fields so I will have to dig out an arc welder to get some practice before the practical exam.

ps Do we need to actually pass the practical before we can apply for the main visa or just have a date booked if any one could kindly advise please.

Hi

As far as I am aware (but I wouldn't swear to it) you have to pass the assessment prior to applying for your visa. Our agent put us through the assessment prior to submission and there was no suggestion that we could apply prior to the test but I'm sure someone will advise you further.
