Just trying to find out what the time scales are for validating a 475 visa, is it 6 months or a Year?
Also, once validated, how long do you have to make the move for real?
Any advice would be a great help.
We got our visa March 4th 08,initial entry was by 15th Jan 09,then we had to arrive to live here by 4th March 2013.
Luckily we got here last october.
I think you have a year from the time of your medicals to validate your visa. Not sure about the rest.
As far as I'm aware and I may be wrong but the 475 visa is provisional for 3 years of which you have to live in SA for 2 years and work for 12 months. You will have a latest entry date to come into Australia, your 3 year visa starts from initial entry into Australia. You can come and go as often as you want but bear in mind the timescale you have to meet the criteria to apply for PR, two years living and 12 months full time work.
