Hi every body,

I have already applied for visa subclss 175, now it seems that it is getting delayed to process it.

Can anyone let me know whether I can change my visa subclass to 475 now, if I managed to get a state sponsership?

Hi,

 

You could apply for 176 in the states where your occupation is in demand. After you get a successful state sponsorship your state nomination result will be forwarded directly to DIAC. Please find below further information on Skilled – Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 176):

 

If you are nominated by a State or Territory government, you need to agree to:

 

  • remain in the State or Territory for a period of at least two (2) years
  • keep the State or Territory government informed of changes in address details before and after arrival
  • be prepared to complete surveys and provide information as required.
