475 visa - what to do with passports

Our 475 visa was granted on 1.4.09 via the Immigration website - our status page had changed to granted etc.

I have noticed that other people on this site have been notified by email of their visa being granted.

Can anybody tell me what we have to do now to get the stamp in our passports. What is the next process?

      Many thanks
      Alison x

You need to print off your grant letter (from the DiAC site), then send that letter with your passports along with a pre-paid special delivery bag to London House

We called them and they were really helpful. We sent our passports in special delivery pouches and included a pre-paid one inside for them to post them back with your visas in them.

It didnt take long at all.

      good luck x

      Hi Alison,

We were wondering he same, as our visa tracking page said Granted.
A day or 2 later, you will recieve an email with all the info you need.
You'll have a document on your email which proves you have been granted your visa. It also tells you where to send it.

All you need to do is pop down the post office and ask for a pre-paid special delivery envelope (so you can get your passports back without Royal mail loosing them) and another special delivery envelope to send everything to Australia House.

Just pop a cover note on the front and pop all your passports in there. You'll have the email soon enough, so don't worry. If you haven't recieved it after a week, phone ASPC up and ask them for it.

Best of luck with the move!

      Hi Alison,

You have to receive your visa grant notification letter with your visa number, initial entry date, etc.
You have to send your passport to visa evidency facility to receive visa labels on all applicants’ passports.
