'full time' hours

Hi

I am on an employer sponsored permanent visa and my visa stipulates that I should work 'full time' for 2 years with my employer.

Some people at work say that 9 shifts a fortnight (currently work 10) is still considered full time - if this is so then I would like to drop a shift a fortnight.

Before I go and speak to my manager I want to try and find out whether working 67 and a half hours a fortnight would still be fulfilling my visa obligations. I have looked on the immi website but cannot see any info on there.

Any ideas anyone?

i thought full time was 38 hours per week?

nurses work 40 hrs a week, if full time. 5 X 8hrs. we get paid for 38 and so get a paid day off X1 every 4 weeks.

Hi

I am a nurse and work at Ashford Hospital - shifts are from 7-3 with 30 mins break, so 7 and a half hours and we do not get a day off every month! So full time for us is 37 and a half hours a week.
