Money Transfer Companies

Apart from the usual suspects HIFEX and Ozforex does anyone know of companies that let you transfer small amounts, so I do not have to use the banking system and sorts of prices involved.

Try Tranzfers - www.tranzfers.com. You can use them from UK or Aus ( they are part of Ozforex I believe)

Their charges are quite reasonable for smallish amounts I think UK 7 or $15 which is miles cheaper than the banks.

We used them and they were efficient.

My friend regularly transfers money using her TSB visa debit card from uk to ANZ bank account here without incurring any fees, you just get the visa exchange rate when you do it mind you but for small amounts I don't suppose that's a huge deal
