Yep 11.30am Strasbourg time.

 

It will certainly be very interesting to hear the outcome and will definitely encourage people to make voluntary contributions to top up the state pension if it goes in this direction.

I just thought I would add, that if you return to the UK or Europe after you have been awarded a pension, you are entitled to claim the updated rate for the time you are there.

You have to apply to the DWP for Leaflet CF-N-701 and Form POD926A-CT to make a claim for the benefit to be paid and send them copies of your E-tickets and boarding passes.

Legally it may be OK, but morally it's very very wrong. People have worked all their lives & paid taxes & NI only to be shafted by the UK government because they choose to retire abroad.

Yes it would cost the gov more money but they should stop wasting money on stupid baby bonds, IVF and the like & give the pensioners the annual increases they are entitled to.

Dick Turpin is obviously still around
