All I would suggest is to put some money aside that you don't touch to cover flights back to the UK if there is an emergency. I remember reading a post from someone on here a while ago who was desperately unhappy and really wanted to go back, but didn't have the money (she turned things around and made a go of it in the end, a really inspiring story) but also if there is an emergency you don't want to be in a position of not being able to make the choice.
I can only be nice to one person each day....today is NOT your turn...and tomorrow isn't looking too hopeful either.

really good advice to be able to afford flights back even for 1 my husband been back twice in a year plus the time we all went back. would not change it for the world . plan for the unexpected
