Tax query: foriegn income

Hi

Just a quick question: is it right that we have to add the income we made in the UK prior to leaving (we arrived in september) to that tax return. We have been in Australia previously and this was not the case then. We don't want to have to pay tax on it twice.

I am not too sure what you mean here, are you asking whether you need to declare the UK income in the UK tax return?

I arrived September and I haven't declared what I earnt in the UK on my Oz tax return. I paid my tax on it and I wasn't a resident then so presume it doesn't matter.
