Is anybody still paying their National Insurance contributions ??

Hi all,

 

Just wondering ifanybody is paying their national insurance contributions. I believe you can pay a lesser out of the country amount. I kow people who have done this 30 years ago and cliaming their state pensions and coming back to the UK with all NI rights including Health Care. I am 33 and with the exchange rate as it is it may be worth a few quid if it can be done ?? Its one hell of a pension when I retire

 

Anyone looked at the same ??

Class 2 you need to apply to the HM tax office, there is a form on their site

ill be cashing mine in as Iam now fully paid up...

How old are you if you dont mind me asking??? I am 33 and you need 30 years to claim a full state pension. I have paid from 16.

44 I'm now fully paid with UK NI payments....make sure you fill in the form they will work out the reduced payments and advise how much you need to pay and when it needs paying..

If i remember correctly you will only receive the rate of pension at the time you become entitled. Any increases you will not be entitled to whilst living outside the EU.

I've paid 22 years so might aswell continue. Class 2 contributions are not much.
