Great budgeting exercise

Recommended Posts

Understanding your budget is fundamental for managing finances and also for looking at financial planning.

This is a very good tool to use for understanding where your money goes and most importantly your disposalable income and perhaps what you might be able to do and/or cut back on to increase your disposable income.

Good use of disposable income is one of the main ways of creating wealth as once determined it can then be directed into areas to reduce debt and/or build assets, for example overpayment on the home/investment loan, buying shares/units in managed funds, paying into Superannuation etc.

It's also a very good exercise to do in any event, here it is https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/tools-...budget-planner
