      first home

      hi all,

can anyone help us to clarify something?

we are currently looking at purchasing a new property in Andrews Farm and our intention is to rent it out as an initial investment for a year or two at most while we obtain our visa's (all being well 136 Visa). I am trying to get confirmation that this is ok to buy somewhere as an investment initially but ultimately move in ourselves.

Hope someone can help settle our minds

      thanks

      Ian and Rachel

I "think" you have to live in your first property for 12 months to claim the grant.

Have a word with Bett22 on here - they have done something like this........
