Interest Rates Cut

After much speculation about a rate cut today the RBA have just announced that the cash interest rate will reduce to 2.0%.

Banks will follow suit soon. Makes buying a home so much easier. Think that I will be out looking!

so a quarter of a percent will trigger you to go looking for a house ??, retail interest rates are still around 4% in australia, in the UK HBSC are offering 1.99 fixed until 2020................ interesting comparison don't you think

 

We just discharged our mortgage with a large australian bank and that was 4.9%, good luck to em I say! (and we had that since 2003)
