Pension QUROPS help

Hi can anyone help?

i have been trying to get my pensions over from the UK and have just been told that more or less my pensions are trapped in the UK as the UK no longer recognise any Australian SuperFund as QUROPS.

 

i am just worried that my pensions in the UK will just dwindle away with fees etc and really don't know what to do. Do I continue paying UK pensions or just pay into Australian Super????.

 

is anyone else in the same position or can anyone offer assistance

Yep! Withdrew my NHS pension then found out the same news so just waiting to see if there will be a turnaround on the decision. Very annoying as my funds are pretty much in limbo now.

It just seems so unfair my teaching pension and AVC stuck over there aswell as my husbands. I am hoping they will arrange something because there must be thousands like us
