Just a quick reminder for members to refresh themselves on the forum rules:
Forum Rules
  1. PomsInAdelaide.com is not the appropriate medium for personal or private vendettas. This forum should not be used to attempt to resolve personal problems with fellow members, migration agents, service providers or anyone else. Please email them directly to attempt to resolve in the first instance.
  2. Please try to keep postings on-topic, do not steer the thread in another direction without good reason. If required please start a new topic within a relevant forum.
  3. Please use the most descriptive title possible when creating a new thread, ensuring you search the forums first to ensure posts are not duplicated. Duplicate posts may be deleted or merged.
  4. Be respectful to your fellow members, this is a friendly and great environment; we wish to keep it that way so please treat others as you would like to be treated.
  5. Moderators may, if felt appropriate move your post if it becomes more relevant / pertinent to another part of the forum.
  6. Please remember that moderators are volunteer helpers that are here to ensure the forum runs smoothly. Please respect this if they have to contact you/edit/remove or add additional comments to your threads or posts.
  7. Should you have any issues with a moderator you must contact the forum administrator http://www.pomsinadelaide.com/forum/sendmessage.php.
  8. Discussions about moderator or administrator actions are welcome in email or local private messages, but should not be placed in the public forums, (this includes threads created to discuss infracted/banned members) any such threads will be removed by admin/mods and infractions may be issued. Abusing moderators will NOT be tolerated under any circumstances.
  9. Please keep your language clean and decent. This include personal inflammatory language as well as obscenities.
  10. You agree not to hold PomsInAdelaide.com or its members liable for anything stated within the forums and that messages posted at this site are the sole opinion and responsibility of the poster.
  11. Postings that are designed with the intention to drive traffic to a member's site, or affiliated sites will be removed or edited, as the moderator(s) feels appropriate.
  12. Trolling will not be tolerated.
  13. Members identified with more than one account will have their accounts merged. Any member who deliberately sets up a false account to troll will be banned.
Business Members
  1. Before advertising any business or service on PomsInAdelaide.com, contact the administrator. Any posts deemed to be advertising material without the consent of the moderators or administrators will be deleted.
  2. Signatures are a great way of promoting your online business and we encourage their use on the board and within profiles. However, please keep signatures to a maximum of two lines, do not include large images, large text or banners. You may NOT post your company name / company logo as your avatar.
  3. Service providers using this function purely to promote their own wares without adding value to the community are likely to be removed and/or edited. Please seek prior permission from the administrator prior to advertising your service (See point 1 above).
Chat Room
  1. Respect each other and the hosts.
  2. Strong language and vulgarity are prohibited. Use a similar standard of language to what you might hear on major network TV, on the radio, or in any other public forum. Crude sex words are strictly prohibited. Using asterisks or other symbols in place of letters does not make a word okay to use. Please use common sense and courtesy. If you wouldn't say it in polite company you shouldn't say it here.
  3. No personal insults to others.
  4. No flaming others. If you don't like what someone has to say, the chat room gives you the option to ignore their posts.
  5. Members have the right to refuse to give out any and all personal details.
  6. Members have the right to refuse any request for person-to-person chat from another member.
  7. Those under age 18 must have consent from their parent before using ANY of our chat rooms.
  8. The chat rooms are provided as a free service. As such, there are no guarantees given or implied. Use of the chat rooms is at your own risk.
  9. Under no circumstances are children under the age of 13 allowed in the chat rooms.
NOTE: All chat room activity is logged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A manuscript of all chats is available to the moderators for their moderation purposes. Please remember that anything you type in the chat room can be read by the staff of PomsInAdelaide.com.

Breaking the rules
Moderators will give infractions to members who break the rules, an individual occurrence or continuous breaches of the rules will affect your posting rights and severe repeat offenders may be banned from the site.
