Does anybody know how much data Skype uses per min please? As this is critical when using a 3g dongle with a limit? Thanks

A quick google found this:
Roughly 70 Kbs if you are in a call with one person. This means you will get 500kByte per minute
so to be precise:
1 minute call at 70kbps consumes ~ 0,5 MB of bandwitdh
10 min ~ 5 MB
100min ~ 50 MB

Hi Nick,
In regards to your email, You can move while you are in contract. As you said you were moving to Aldinga, I know you won’t be able to get Adsl2+ in Aldinga as the area is a black spot. We do have a technology which is what most Aldinga residents use called Wimax. The only thing is it is quite expensive to relocate. So my suggestion to you would be to use one of our 3G wireless dongles until you move to you move to your permanent house. Then you will be able to look at a different service depending on where you move.
You are welcome to call my direct line and I can explain this to you in more detail or if you would like to sign up for one of our products I can help you out with that as well.
Can anybody shed any light on this please?
Anyone please?
