phone calls to the Uk

I have been using "Daybreak" for over 6 years now & was wondering what everyone else uses to phone the Uk, any good deals out there that you can recommend?

only ever use skype to be honest, both on mobile and laptop. There are better providers that offer better bandwidth but just too lazy to change...

Yeah, if you've got internet (broadband) then Skype is the way to go. And the video chat via computers is fab.

Also from what I see being in the UK still its far cheaper for the UK to call Aus anytime than Aus to UK (unless on one of the crummy calling cards off peak after midnight or something). It costs us £1 a month for the Friends and Family overseas with BT and the calls are then 3 or 4p per minute anytime day or night. It never seems to work out so cheap for family calling from Adelaide to the UK to talk to us.

If you go with Adam Internet you can get VoIP which means you can use a normal phone but it goes over your broadband. It's only a cent or two a minute to the uk :)

Yeh we gave up on the calling cards, often got bad lines, and to be honest, I personally can't get on with Skype (all my family talk at the same time which Skype doesn't cope with very well!) so spoke to Telstra and got a deal on international calls.

Go Talk I've used it for a long time now and found it to be cheap they also give you 10% free . Hope this helps

I use my mobile as they include intl call time in my monthly fee, otherwise my folks call me they are still on a talk talk deal where as long as the call isn't over an hour and it's to an oz land line then it's completely free.
