Fed up with waiting

Yes fed up with waiting to hear from Adelaide regarding our 175 class visa. Its all so slow.... We have jumped the gun a bit by having our police and medicals done, but really waiting for the case officer, 7 months thus far, to make contact, been told we might get a decision by end of July. Its all those visa applications they had beginning of september 07 thats slowing it all up!

Never mind soon it will be all those October 07 applications slowing it up. Your turn will come so keep your place in the line. Spend your time doing positive things like getting rid of old baggage, sorting out the cupboards, seeing places n people.

There really isn't any rhyme or reason tyo this process. We lodged our 175 the day before you and we got our visa granted 12th May. Don't worry too much not hearing from a CO. If your supporting document is in order you may not even be contacted by one. They will just pass it on to the decission maker and the first thing you hear is that you have the visa.
Fingers crossed it comes through soon for you.

there is a rumor on another site that the DIAC has met there quotas for issuing visas for this year.
They say that from July 1st it should all get moving again.
I dont know how true this is but hopefully if it is, it shouldnt be too long now.

hi we have been told that the year endfor processing visas is end of may throughout june they donot process just tie up loose ends and processing will again begin in july! we logged ours 16th october all front loaded and not heard yet so im praying it does arrive in july as we sold our house and have to be out of our rental by the end of july so we have booked our flights for 3rd september!
