hi everybody. i am about to start the TRA process and i would just like to get an idea of what to expect and when. so i am asking for for the lucky people who have completed the process and are in or about to be in adelaide soon to post on here such dates as when they started, TRA passed, visa granted and so on.....
i see many other people asking like me, how long now?
this would be a big help, many thanks

Here is our time line

TRA recieved Sept 06 - took about 3 weeks
submitted application Oct 06 - recieved acknowledgement Dec 06 backdated to Oct
medicals and police checks requested 26.02.07
English police checks applied for 28.02.07 received back 23.03.07
Australian police checks applied for 07.03.07 recieved back 28.03.07
Medicals done 30.03.07 sent to Sydney 05.04.07
Recieved visa 24.04.07

This is for a skilled independant 136 visa

Our timeline is a bit disjointed but here's an idea

TRA applied for 16/11/05
TRA Passed 12/12/05

Advised to wait for all clear as health issues with Daughter.

After a will they won't they let's do it discussion advised agent to lodge application

136 Modl application lodged 19/2/07
Acknowledged/ Cc/cd debited 4/4/07
Case Officer Allocated 19/4/07
Meds done 3/5/07
PCC'S Requested 4/07 (Day 28 and not here yet)
C/O Deadline 29/5/07

Hoping to have Visa grant early June providing no problems.

Won't be much longer, I recall mine took about 30 days over Xmas 06, I did ring in the end & they said it had been posted that week & true to their word I received within a couple of days :)
