      Well im getting all excited and making sure the house, garden and car is all clean, neat and tidy as missus arrives from the UK tommorow :) .
      She went back to the UK end of november when we sold the house and now here to stay with the pups.

      We went to Hahndhorf, Mount Barker, Mount Lofty Summit and finally Cleland Wildlife Park. great day out.

      We went to the Whispering Wall and Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre. Had a great day out. We couldn't believe how quiet it was on the roads. Nothing like going out in the UK on a Bank Holiday!

      You're lucky with the weather and lucky they changed the date of the Adelaide Cup. It used to be held in May, so it was always cold!!
      Backpacked round Australia 1992. Married Australian husband in Adelaide 1994. Lived in Adelaide 1994-1997. Moved back to UK & lived in Essex/Herts 1997-2009. Returned to Adelaide November 2009. 2 kids dual nationality.

      We went to the Adelaide cup, had a great day in the sun, dressed up with a few too many bubblies.

      Tut tut @ the lot of you - no such thing as a "Bank Holiday" here - they are "Public Holidays" - gotta learn the lingo or the locals will know you're foreign!

      I can only be nice to one person each day....today is NOT your turn...and tomorrow isn't looking too hopeful either.
