      Adelaide United

      Hi

Me and my Wife arrive on October 5th and really love our footy (soccer). We see that Adelaide United are playing later that day. Can anyone tell me if you can purchase tickets on the day? If so do you just go to the stadium and purchase them?
Also does public transport run on banks holidays as we would have to find away of getting there as we will be staying in Glenelg North.

Thanks for reading and hope to get some positive info

You shouldn't have any problem purchasing tickets at the gate - but don't go expecting a particularly high standard of football! Good atmosphere usually though. Not sure about public transport, you could have a look at http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/

I can only be nice to one person each day....today is NOT your turn...and tomorrow isn't looking too hopeful either.

Yeah mate no probs buying tickets on the gate for $26. However being a public holiday there may be more than normal there.

      See ya there..

Get the train to Bowden and follow some other supporters, easy, I've been here about 3 weeks and been 3 times.

On an away game you might want to pop into the Elephant Pub on Rundle St, English style pub serving familiar Beers - packed with Adelaide fans on a game day.
