can anyone give us advice?

we are in process of visa and going to south oz on a temp visa subclass 495, we have doubts if doing the right thing, worried living the dream is not all that its made out to be! eg: house prices(much cheaper compared to the uk? house hold bills? any hidden cost?
any help much appreciated,
