Hi my children are quite partial to The Wooden Fort at Old Noarlunga, Belair National park adventure playground and a little bit further afield St Kilda which has some amazing slides and swings that even adults can use - if you're brave enough. Lots of mozzies at St Kilda during the summer and the slides are metal so get very hot (obviously during the summer) take a blanket or a towel to sit on if you visit at this time.

There are two lasting bequests that we can hope to give our children - one of those is roots: the other is wings!

Lefevre tce in North Adelaide, fully enclosed-no escape routes. Bonus horse paddocks behind.
Glen Osmund Rd, South Parklands City, fully enclosed, lots of room. Across the way are the Himeji Japanese Gardens, kids love this secret little place with its hedged walls and fountain and pond.
Tusmore Park has a paddling pool that is shaded in summer, there is a creek, tennis courts and play equipment and also lots of room to kick a ball. There are bbqs here.

      Hi there
There is a lovely shady play area in Happy Valley/Aberfoyle - it is where the scout hut is, tennis courts, but the smaller one love it, because it is fenced in like the wooden fort in Port Noarlunga.

For the cooler days, try Play and Fun in Christies Beach (getting a bit expensive now, but very good) bouncy castles etc. All kids love the beach don't they - I always have a bucket and spade in the car and the girls alway loved it - nice cheap fun!

Get involved with playgroups too - they are a great way of meeting new people too - have a look on their website - just google playgroup SA.

      Good luck with it all
