can we start a tread about ARTS & CRAFTS? anything really.
Fabric shops, short courses, knitting blogs, craft markets, websites with art materials in Oz?
Anything relating to arts and crafts in Adelaide or in Oz.

I'm not into craft but my Mum is. I've recently gained an interest in learning to paint but haven't looked into classes yet.

Just for your info, there is an Art and Craft Fair on this weekend at the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds. You might find something there.

Thanks for that. But unfortunatly I still don't have a visa. Will keep in mind for next year anyway. Let me know if your Mum went and what she thought of it.

I went and actually enjoyed myself. There were quite a few crafty stalls selling their stencils etc. Make a note to go next year!

Once you get a visa local libraries hace craft groups, the Marion area has a knitting group, sowing group, reading group, but Spotlight is awesome for all of that stuff
