Lawn..... yes lawn.

Now although we've been in our rental for 5 months now, the landlord has just got the front garden done, with a very nice lawn and flowers. All area's have underground watering system, with a timer / control panel in the garage.

Now one of my son's friends, his mum works for SA Water, and he asked us yesterday do we have a permit for the lawn, hmmmmm no was our answer.

So my question please, do we need a permit, and if so, is that down to us or the landlord???? Would like to know before I get a ticket from :policeman:

Thanks in advance

The best person to ask is the lady at the top of your road. She works for sa water and it would be her that fines you !!! Is the underground water system a dripper or sprinkler ???? No one sees when your drippers are on !!!! Not that you'll need to water with the rain forecast.:biglaugh:

I don't suppose you need any pebbles to finish it off do you ???;)

It's her son that asked us, I think on her behalf.....

The underground water system in a dripper, and think your right might go and turn it off for tomorrow watering.

Would love some of your pebbles, but it's not our house. (I'll have some next year like Heaps) lol

i thought you could not leave those water timers on because there are only certain times when you can water.

It would be up to the lanlord, he fitted it.

the first lot of watering is by permit only. Issued to the person that brought the turf. You can now water twice a week without a permit on your allocated days. With the rain at this time of year you will be fine.
