Short term furnished accomodation

Hi folks,

can anybody shed any light on how we can secure some short term furnished accomodation for september 14th, out of many e-mails to real estate agents we have had one response, who said try 3 weeks before you arrive, we just cant seem to make any headway. other half doing his usual wardance!!

I know how you feel....I've had no response from people so far...very frustrating...we arrive on 29th Oct so just under 10 very short weeks to go and we're in Italy for one of those...arghhhhhhh

The landlady was very obliging and helpful. Unfortunately we'll still be in it when 'Stella and Dave' arrive, although we will have moved on by the first week in October!

Thanks for all your help, have just been allocated some oaa, no address as yet but that doesnt matter as at least we have somewhere to crash. We can then look around, bit of a weight off our shoulders actually, phew! Thanks anyway, stel

Been here a year nearly,and ive found that all this email cyber bul..hit is a total waste of space,looking for jobs,looking for rentals etc.Face to face and cards on the table seems to work much better.ATB Billy.

How soon to you flying out did you find out about being on OAA? We applied for OAA - not heard as yet and just over 9 weeks until we fly out.
