Hi all.could anyone recommend a furnished 3 bedroom property for short term rental for a family of 4.will be arriving on 7/11/2009.will be looking to rent for about a month until we get something more long term.many thanks Steve

You might want to look on the Rentals in Oz site.

Enter in the postcode 5000 and then the K's of radius away you are prepared to rent from the city centre.

Which area will you be looking to live in? As you can see from the responses to your post, there are several options around, so if you know where you might end up living/working, its a good idea to base yourself somewhere in that rough vicinity when you first arrive.

In terms of personal recommendations, I have seen Tyke's places and have met Donna (Jacobs) http://www.realestateowners.net.au/ and hand on heart can say they are both great people, with well located properties.

Good luck finding somewhere, and if you have an idea of where you might be settling eventually, just ask and someone on here will be able to point you in the right direction of where would be a good starting point!
