Short Term Rental - Port Adelaide & Surrounding Area

Can anyone give us any information on places they stayed short term in the Port Adelaide areas. We will be booking our flights next week for around the middle of February 2010 and will apply for the OAA. As you not guaranteed it we have been trying to find a back up. My hubby has managed to secure a job offer which is based in the Port Adelaide area so as long as it is within a 15-30 min drive of there would be okay. Looked at the local Holiday Parks but at $224 a night this is a bit out of our budget.

 

Any advice greatly appreciated.

We stayed in OAA in Port Adelaide. It's not a strictly tourist area really so not sure if there would be too many short term lets. It's easy to access by train (Outer Harbour line) so you could always live along the train line elsewhere. It's also not far from Semaphore beach (walkable distance) so you may find some more places nearer the beach.
