1 day, i can't believe people do that. Why on earth bother going in the first place, surely you can't see enough of the place in a day. i'dve at least had a bloody holiday. derrr
Ali behave don't be mean to the muppet
I was quite surprised how muppetbro was being bullied on here by others for expressing his opinion. Also I agree with Lisa that a lot of what he said is actually true. He was just trying to advise people on how it can be surely. Was surprised as well that some of the responses came from people that haven't arrived yet so don't know how it is or have only been here a short time and seem to think they know it all! It's a great place to be and a great life but can be hard at times with lots of learning curves as with everywhere.

Bullying???? Hmmmm I think not. Maybe the flurry of posts was a tad unfotunate and could be seen by those of a nervous disposition as taking things a bit too far.
However, if anyone reads the thread and traces back to the source of these comments they will clearly see that the starting point was Muppetbro's assertion that another forum member's plans constituted 'absolute madness'. Personally speaking starting a post in such a manner is discourteous, lacks respect and is just downright annoying. This is not the first example of such behaviour. The posts that followed just go to prove that 'He who lives by the sword dies by the sword'. Obviously, however, 2 wrongs do not make a right (but the second one dose make you feel better :D).
I think that it is fairly obvious to anyone reading these posts that the issue is not with the opinion but with the attitude being displayed. Quite ironically this is the sort of attitude that a lot of people seem to be trying to get away from by going to Oz.
For what it's worth I couldn't buy a house without seeing it - no matter who had a looked at it for me. Then again not so long ago I wouldn't have believed I would move the entire family several thousand miles away to a country I've never been to. Everything is a gamble to a certain extent and some people are willing to gamble more than others. Hopefully the gambles we are all taking will pay off for us ALL.
By someone rattled Morgans cage.
As for me I have been a very very naughty girl and will never do it again.
Well not in a rush anyway.;)
Fair comment lisa that was a bit school playground, sorry, it would be nice for muppet bro to add some good comments to some of the decussions, as iam sure there are some....?! seeing as he has been there before and a lot of us have not, i would like nothing more than to have some good feedback from from Mr Bro who has experenced adelaide, so please Mr Bro give us some good.

Forums are for views and peoples opinions, Take out of them what you want. Everybodies wants experiences are different. Some people fall into a well paid job easily, and wonder what the fuss is all about, others struggle.
All views IMO....are worth seeing, especially those from people from or have lived in Adelaide.
Its not all bad in Adelaide though.

I for one will not mind being irritated by more of his posts but look forward to finding out mor of what he likes about Adelaide besides surfing.:)
