Looking for a 12 month rental

Hi, we arrived in Adelaide 2 weeks ago and are in short term rental until the middle/end of Jan.

 

We're doing lots of driving around looking at areas and spending lots of time looking at real estate agents websites, trying to find a 12 month unfurnished rental place. There doesn't seem to be a huge selection available at the mo, so we're wondering if any of you know of any places that are coming up for rental, or know you're moving out/breaking lease soon?

 

We're after a family house, 4 bedroom (or 3 with a study/extra room) The areas we like so far are;

 

Flagstaff Hill

Eden Hills

Coromandel valley

Blackwood

Aberfoyle Park

Sheidow Park

Genalta

Bell Air

 

We've heard it can be pretty competitive to get a good rental so any help would be much appreciated!

Hiya

We are looking around at the moment as well. We were told by a couple of agents that there isn't much around at the moment due to xmas etc, but they expect more to become available towards the end of Jan.

We have been to see quite a few, but have been left feeling a bit despondent as some of them really are bad! I think it's time that landlords realised if they kept their properties looking nicer they might be able to get more rent for them! I don't ask for much, but cleanliness and tidyness is a must!

We are in the new part of Sheidow Park and will be moving to our home in the next couple of weeks. We live in a lovely clean well maintained house and its only a few years old. There is a master with ensuite, a sitting room, big kitchen, dining area and living area all open plan. There is a study/ bedroom 4 and two other double size beds with toilet bath and shower. There is also a laundry. Big double carport with remote eletric doors, shed and undercover entertaining area (cafe blinds) with a medium strip of grass running the whole side of the house.Broadband and foxtel ready. All bedrooms bar the study have big built in robes. There are white vertical blinds throughout the house. We have never used an agent but deal with the owner direct who is a lovely guy and has let us enjoy our time here.

We have a rental property in Christies Beach which will be available in a couple of weeks. It is a 3 bedroom home on a large block, 2 large living areas & plenty of parking with a lock up shed.

We are just finishing off painting & it has brand new floor coverings through out.

Also it is in a fantastic location, being just 2 streets back from the beach. It also has a side gate which provies you with quick & easy access to the beach.

Theres a brand new 3 bed house for rent 2 doors up from us on the sunday estate Aldinga beach,if any ones interested i can have a word with the landlord,she introduced herself and showed us round the house last week its very nice.
