Have a look at some of the caravan parks around and just e-mail to see what kind of prices they can offer for a few weeks stay and if they have places available. Some may accept a provisional booking if you ask (dont know though as never done it but worth an ask). It getting a bit chilly at night though so if you do go to a caravan park bring some warm PJ's.

If you want to be nearer to the city (a good idea if you are going to be house/job hunting) then the Discovery Holiday Park at Semaphore is very convenient and right on the beach. Adelaide Beachfront Caravan & Holiday Park: Adelaide, SA: Discovery Holiday Parks Australia

Go for the top class Dolphin Cabins and you will feel very comfortable even in winter. Adelaide Shores Holiday Park is even nearer to the city Adelaide Shores Official Website and close to the airport too (not necessarily a good thing).

If you want a fully furnished rental then Donna Jacob's website is a good place to try as she manages a portfolio of properties in a variety of locations. She is also very helpful and understands the situation you will be in. www.realestateowners.net.au

Hi

We arrive in Adelaide on 21 June and found out on Friday that we haven't got accommodation on arrival :arghh:. We're in full panic mode as our 15 yr old daughter insists she wants to attend Hallet Cove School as we are looking to settle around that area and she knows someone who attends there. At the moment she's adamant she wont stay in a caravan whilst attending school!!! Hopefully some friends we have out there will keep an eye out for rentals for us although we would prefer to see the properties prior to signing on the dotted line so fingers crossed.

Tracey :chatterbox: This is exactly how I feel at the moment!!!
