Hi all trying to do some research on parts of adelaide to rent when we emigrate in september . It's obvious the further away from the city you get the more you get for your money .so if we looked south to christies beach ,port noarluga or even aldinga is it possible to commute from here using public transport as not all four of us can drive .Also what areas to the north are nice family renting areas thanks mike

In short.....yup! No problem to commute to the city from the south.

These suburbs have the train line running through them. The Noarlunga line hugs the coast. From Noarlunga you are looking at 40 mins at peak time via train maybe an hour by bus (never travelled into the city by bus, so just a guess).

Noarlunga

Christies Beach

O'Sullivans Beach

Hallett Cove Beach

Hallett Cove

Marino Rocks

Marino

Seaciffe

Brighton

Glenelg

It goes on, all the way to the city but I can't remember all the stations! ;)

Have a look here Welcome to the Adelaide Metro Website to find out routes.
