4 Bedroom Rental Hallett Cove

bill

Recommended Posts

We are moving out of our 4-bedroom rental in Hallett Cove on November 29. Thought that potential renters might like a heads up about it.

See it at 6 Mayflower Crescent, Hallett Cove, SA 5158 - House for Rent #404824586 - realestate.com.au

Warts-and-all description. It has the MOST FABULOUS MILLION DOLLAR views, but is a bit shabby, though spacious with polished wood floors to most areas.

Downstairs has 3 bedrooms (2 with great sea views and BIR), bathroom, toilet, good size kitchen, laundry, large lounge/diner, reverse cycle ducted aircon and a separate heater (both old but effective), large covered area out back (great for all-weather drying of washing) and a fabulous front verandah with amazing views.

Upstairs is a parent retreat, much more modern, with magnificent sea views from bedroom and large lounge area, also has WIR and ensuite. Has ducted cooling and a wood-burner for winter heating (you will need it!). Balcony is fabulous in summer.

Gardens are large and sloping, so quite hard work to maintain.

We are moving on schedule, have nothing to gain by recommending this house, but would like to share the great pleasure it has given us. NOT for the domestically choosy, but practical and the views do it all for us.

PS 5 minute walk downhill to Hallett Cove beach, 15 minute hard walk back up the hill!

Hi, It's about 100m away, and far enough away to be background noise, so we hardly ever notice it. The house is open on Tuesday at 4pm and you might find that a train goes by in that period, so you will be able to judge for yourself.

Hi,

Having googled the area, did you ever have problems with train noises? The track looks pretty close from the air! Looks to be in a good spot otherwise!
