Absolutely - Buckleys chance !

 

How can it make economic sense when the cash rate (the rate you can get for lending it to a bank, who will then lend it on again + profit / risk margin) is 4.75% ?

 

(Unless it has more catches than professional cricket team...there are some massively low interest rates, but remember - the house does NOT lose).

 

However, there will be people who will read it and take it literally as our general rate.

That is the concern, that people will sell up thinking that you get a 2% rate over here. And notice no house for the money in Australia!

I wonder whether they actually mean 1.89% above inflation/base interest rate? because that number is just plain wrong otherwise

They don't cpme up with "above inflation" numbers for the other country's, like spain thats on the bones of its .....

 

It's just pie in the sky.

And no mention of stamp duty on top:biglaugh:
