Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has built In Sellicks Beach?? And if so did u have an Aerobic Sewage system fitted?

We are looking at a block dwn there and because of its location the council have advised this is our ONLY option for sewage!

Problem we are facing is you need 200 sqm of land to irrigate with the waste from the tank, but this land cannot be used as 'usable garden' if you get my meaning!!

Any information or advise would be appreciated

THanks

A friend with a rental has some of the land in the back raised with some plants so maybe that was why it was raised. I think that many people must irrigate the front as well. Rules must have changed the rules as our system waters the back lawn which always green!

Sa water are talking about installing sewers down at sellicks at a cost of $6000 to all the home owners, (septic tanks or not) I would put off getting a Septic tank until they have decided what is going to happen. you wouldn't want to pay out $15000+ for a septic tank then have to pay out another $6000 to get sewers. There has been a huge uproar about it all over the past couple of months.
