Looks like September is going to bring lots of Poms to Adelaide!

Been looking up all the advertised short term rentals here and September is booked up! Aah!

Any ideas anyone? Will be looking for 3-4 weeks from 8/9/11, for a family of 4, please.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Have you tried homesdownunder? Tamara is on here, and her houses in Port Noarlunga and Christies Beach look lovely and good rates! I don't know about availability though, like you say September might be booked up. Hope this helps.

There maybee some availability in the units were we live at Moana beach. They are usually advertised on http://www.stayz.com.au.They can be expensive at certain times of the year but it may be worth trying to negotiate on the price. You won't find a much nicer place to start your new life in Oz!Good Luck.x

Hi

With so many visa being granted at the moment many short term rental are full for September and getting bookings towards the end of the year.... its a very busy time.

Have you looked at www.adelaideshorttermrentals.com.au , www.stayz.com.au and www.takeabreak.com.au also if your flights are already booked you may want to consider splitting your stay in a holiday home and then in a short term rental to help with the cost?

Good luck

Kim

Hi there,

Many short term furnished rental companies work together quite well and it's often possible to split your booking beween two properties owned by different companies. If you wanted 6 weeks it's possible to stay 2 weeks at one place and 4 at the other...just ask them if they co-operate with each other!

There are quite a few furnished homes for rent from PIA people. http://www.pomsinadelaide.com/forum/jobs-business-adverts/10453-short-term-furnished-rentals.html A few who advertise on PIA also advertise on the commercial sites like Rent A Home, Stayz etc but truly it's better to go direct as this then means the property is cheaper for you as the commission is avoided. Adelaide bound and Adelaide Short Term Rentals as mentioned elsewhere are also direct to the owner.

Yep as you know Tamara always happy to help families out like this and as we're not located too far from each other it makes it easier logistically for them toox

Hi tean,

As Tamara said, we (the people on here with fully furnished houses) have a great working relationship and help guests/each other out with bookings when we haven't got availability.

Its really the only way to do business. Adelaide is such a small place, community wise, so its good to work together and everyone then benefits.
