Tradie recommendations for those that are builiding/renovating

We are on our second build now and I was passing on some recommendations to a friend the other day for companies and tradies that we have used and are pleased with and it got me thinking what a great idea for a thread - hence Ive started one

 

Flooring - we are using Aldinga Carpet and Flooring - excellent price and good service. We are having carpet and Karndean.

Landscapi ng/paving

We are using Aldinga Bay Dingo http://www.aldingabaydingo.com.au/ for paving

In our last house we used Leawara Landscaping http://www.leawarralandscaping.websyte.com.au/ Very pleased with them too

Heating and cooling http://www.knightsheatingandcooling.com.au/ - We used them in our last house and are using them again. Cant wait for some heat

 

Have got a recommendation for blinds too will add that later

 

Would like a recommendation for an electrician too as need some downlight adding

I think that a the Mods should either make this a sticky or have a section for New builds. The reason for this is that when we eventually get over we would like to build our own but whilst you can look on the websites that say $xxxxxxxx for a new build there must be more costs that are hidden or not mentioned and the guys and gals on here must be able to give some pointers as well as the great idea of recommendations.

 

Anyway, just my thoughts.
