Holiday Rentals - Western Beaches

Hi there - we will shortly be booking holiday rental for 4/5 weeks for April 2012 and we are trying to locate holiday Rentals in the Western (ish) Subs - anywhere from Brighton up to Largs Bay and as far East as Tea Tree Gully - most of the holiday rentals seem to be Southwards way - does anyone on here know of anyone who rents holiday homes in those kinda areas? Also we will be looking for long term rental when we get there and will be looking at Western (Beaches) and then Eastern Subs no further down then Athelstone and no higher North then Golden Grove - any pointers please would be appreciated.

We are a large family (2 adults and 6 children) so will be looking for a large home with 5 beds and a decent (ish garden).

 

Husband is a Metal Machinist and primarily be working in the North, obviously schools will be a factor as have a variety of ages to cater for (2,5,9,10,14 and 17)

Hi Helen - have you had a look on Stayz ? http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/sa/adelaide?view=map also, I think www.adelaideshorttermrentals.com may have a couple 'up north'.

Just a thought but have you tried Adelaide Shores holiday park?For a large family it may be cheaper than a house rental and have amenities to suit all age groups,if caravan availability is there it may be an alternative?Situated on the beach but close to all the areas you mentioned.Don't know how to do the linky thing ....sorry!

We stayed in one of Donna's rentals when we first arrived. Fully furnished, everything we needed, and ideally situated, for trains and buses.

if you stay in western shores is only 5 min from the airport get a couple of taxis and not bother with the minivan
