Rental needed from 3rd Jan

I know we have left this really late, but we are still waiting to exchange contracts on our house before we sort out a rental property, as last time we got to this stage the house sale fell through. How easy is to get rental when you arrive, how quick could you move in? Can you recommend any agents I could contact via e-mail. Is it be better to sort out something before we arrive(long term rental), I know all the short term rentals are booked up, but any advise would be great, i'm starting to panic slightly now. Don't mind too much which area but would prefer south of the city and no more than an hours commute from the city.

Kinda depends where you want to live, once decided book yourself into a holiday home for a couple of weeks in that area. Don't bother contacting agents from the UK, approach them when you arrive. It'll be easy enough....ish

Hi guys,

 

I would definetly not sort out your long term rental until you get here and can physically check out places and suburbs for yourselves.

 

Short term, perhaps look at caravan parks...
