It's a hard question as rents and areas vary quite a lot.

In the outer suburbs I'd be looking at $300 pw minimum .

Once we got the TRA through, it took approx a 7-8 months till the visa came through and then a further 12 weeks to sell the house. What visa are you applying for? We are on a 136 permanent residents visa. Like you wish we had done this years ago, we love it here. The kids are happy and dont miss England at all. Good luck with your application,
