It all depends on the rental you find, I suppose. We just rented our place and it has a dishwasher but no fridge or washing machine. We haven't shipped our fridge/freezer (as they were integrated into our kitchen in UK) so we've just purchased a fridge freezer and we're shipping our washing machine and tumble drier so it's visits to the launderette until they arrive!

 

Our rental has built in and walk in wardrobes in the different bedrooms and we've just bought some patio furniture so that we have something to sit on until our shipping arrives.

 

Other rentals we saw had similar set-ups...some had a fridge and some didn't. Don't think we saw any with their own patio furniture but we picked up a nice set from Bunnings for a good price. It depends when your shipping will arrive in relation to when you arrive.

Weigh up cost to replace v's shipping cost is the most practical way.

 

Even if the rental does has a fridge a second one can always be used as a wine/beer fridge
