Hi

Anyone know of any rentals available around July in Semaphore, or nearby.

I'm moving to oz end of june and will be working in port adelaide, so want somewhere fairly close by.

Not really sure which burbs to consider- maybe even port adelaide itself? Just thinkin Semaphore cos it seems to get good reviews, but am open minded.

Thanks

We stayed at a place in Military Road, very close to Semaphore. We rented from Donna Jacobs, she's a member on here, send her a pm. It was a fully furnished, two bedroomed apartment, with bus stop practically outside the door. It was the ideal start to our new life here, had everything in the apartment that we needed.....thoroughly recommend it...

Hi M&M

Go to http://www.realestate.com.au/rent/in-semaphore/list-1?preferredState=sa'>http://www.realestate.com.au/rent/in-semaphore/list-1?preferredState=sa

If that doesn't work go to http://www.realestate.com.au and click on rent and put in Semaphore. Semaphore is a lovely place and very friendly. You could also look at suburbs such as Largs Bay, Largs North, Exeter, Peterhead, North Haven, all within 5 mins drive to the Port,

Good luck

As well you might want to check the online white pages for the agents in the area - http://www.yellowpages.com.au/

Port Adelaide itself is a small area but it is residential as well as commercial, some nice town houses at the old wharfs. Semaphore is a great suburb, very eclectic mix of housing and people and plenty of facilities.

Some of the other areas you might consider are Largs and Largs Bay and Semaphore South. Ethelton is a bit like Semaphore, eclectic mix. Glanville has a mix of houses and some fairly new apartments by the water on the area called the old Sugar Wharf.

Hop onto Google Maps and do a bit of a street view of the areas.

Have a look at stayz.com.au, we stayed in an apartment on the NewPort quays complex over looking the waterfront, it's between Port Adelaide and Semaphore, it has use of a pool and gym also there is a restaurant, the people at the office were really helpful and also arranged our airport transfer, there is also a train stop outside which helps with getting around.

There is a member on PIA who has a property in that area - here's a link to their website http://www.dolphinityapartments.com.au/index.htm

Commercial sites tend to charge a commission to the owner (which will make the price higher for you). Otherwise http://www.adelaideshorttermrentals.com.au may have soemthing listed in that area. This site is also non-commission based and you will usually get the owner replying to you direct.
