Where to stay on arrival?

ahhhh, arriving on the 1st September. Original plans for accommodation have fallen through, any ides of where we can stay for couple of weeks/days please? Also how long does it take to get a rental property secured.

We secured a rental within 2 weeks. Do you have any idea's on what area's you want?

How long is a piece of string? It took us over 4 weeks to find a long term rental. It can be depressing when you go to look out a rental and over 20 other families (all with aussie rental history and refs) are looking round at the same time. Then you discover that you attend only one of 4 viewings. You then go to check one out and you find you are the only interested party. On arrival one look and smell tells you that you wouldn't rent it to keep livestock in it. Some get the first house they put in for while others put in for 15 house and get none of them.

A vast diffrence in demographics there from Edwardstown to Glenelg.

Hence we need a short term, we have never been to Adelaide. Haven't got a clue about areas. These areas fall in the distance we are happy to travel to work.
