Woodcroft transport links

Hi

 

We are looking to stay in Woodcroft short term when we touch down in August and wondered if anyone could tell us what the transport links are like to the CBD and Flinders. One will be driving and the unlucky one will be using public transport. Any advice would be very much appreciated. If it helps we are looking to stay at Russell's place (http://www.auseelife.com.au)

Hi Kathleen,

You will need to scroll down the page a little to find the routes that go into the city.

 

As for the driving, try putting the details into Google Maps/Directions and it should give you an idea of distances and times.

You are not far from the Panalatinga Road which has bus stops pretty much opposite Tyke's place. We have always driven into the City and go along the Goodwood Road, rather than the South Road.

 

Flinders would probably take about 15-20 mins if expressway was in your favour maybe a little more if you went Panalatinga and South Road way and all the traffic lights were against you. It is simple journey one straight route.

Public transport around there is pretty good as the Woodcroft shopping centre is well serviced by numerous buses. No trains though. You should be able to get to Flinders and the CBD easily enough.

Thanks all. We have been on the metro site and there seems to be an express service from close by to the CBD which is good to hear.
