Short term rental for 3 mnths in North East Adelaide ?

Hi Everyone,

 

We are looking at arriving in Adelaide in early Jan 2013 and wanted to know the likelyhood of securing 3 month furnished accomodation ( while our contents are shipped over ). After that we will rent unfurnished ( as we will have our belongings) for a further 6 months while we get a feel for the city. I've ready via other blogs that a 3 month rental is very uncomon - but just wanted to check. As its January ( and after Christmas & New Year ) I was also wondering if the rental market was going to be very quiet as eveyone has been focusing on family and holidays , or if infact this will be a time when there are lots of vacancies as people are moving around after the new year.
