Used to live in Brighton , just round the corner from Brighton Primary. It's handy for the beach, train and Marion shopping mall. Also close to Glenelg where the tram to the city starts and ends. The Primary and Brighton High both had good reputations. It's easy to get to the airport and McClaren vale vinyards and other southern suburbs.

Brighton is an excellent place for a family. The train runs through it, so teenagers can go down to Collonades Shopping centre at noarlunga or into the city. They can also take a bus or walk depending on which part of Brighton you live in to Glenelg, where there is a lot to do. Brighton beach is gorgeous, you can fish off the beach and the esplanade is a nice walk even in winter. Brighton primary is a good high school and Brighton high offers a lot, lots of people try to get their kids in here. There are a couple of small catholic primary schools into the area. Most of these finish at grade 5 as the schools feed into Marymount(girls) , Sacred Heart Middle (boys) for yrs 6-9 then they go to the mixed Sacred Heart seniors together for yrs 10-12.

Houses east of brighton rd are a bit cheaper than those on the western side. The beach is on the western side. The houses are mainly built in the 20s - 50s, but there are new developments as well.

There are cafes in Jetty rd, a pub which has good meals on the esplanade on the end of Jetty rd. There are quite a few resteraunts close by on Brighton Rd. There is a large family buffet style diner called Charlie's at the Brighton Metro.

Brighton is a good place to live.
