Not sure if i'm much help, i've never actually been to Balaklava, but it is up near port wakefield, which we have been through lots of times, i guess a lot would depend on times of day and also which side of the city you are, we are in glenelg and i would say on port wakefeild takes us 2 hours. It is definatly not a comute i would consider. claire
